Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how TuneInNow (“TuneInNow”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal data when you visit https://tuneinnow.pro/ (the “Site”), send the contact form, or reach us by telephone or email. We publish independent Singapore English listening notes about the podcast Life in SG : Real Talk. You do not need an account to read the Site. This policy is written for readers in Singapore and for visitors from elsewhere who use the Site. It is not legal advice. It is the notice we actually follow.

1. Who we are

Identity for visitors is the trading name, the street address, the telephone number, and the email addresses above.

2. Scope

This policy covers the Site and communications you start with us. It does not cover Spotify, Google Maps, your device maker, your mobile network, or any other third-party site you reach from a link. When you follow Listen on Spotify, Spotify’s privacy statement applies to whatever you do on Spotify, including account creation, playback, and payment. When you load Google Maps on the contact page, Google’s terms and privacy statement apply to map tiles, queries, and any cookies Google sets. We cannot rewrite those documents.

3. Personal data we collect

3.1 Data you give us on purpose

If you use the contact form on contact.php, the browser posts to send.php. We receive your name, email address, chosen topic, and message. If you email us, we receive the address you send from, the subject, the message, and any attachments you include. If you call us, we receive the number presented by the network, the time of the call, and whatever you choose to say. We do not ask for identity documents as a condition of reading the Site. Please do not send us passwords for Spotify or for any other service. We will not use them and we do not want them in our inbox.

3.2 Data collected automatically

The host of the Site may record standard server logs: internet protocol address, date and time, requested URL, referrer URL if the browser sends one, user-agent string, and HTTP status. We use logs to keep the Site up, to diagnose errors, and to notice abuse such as repeated requests that look like an attack. We do not use logs to build a profile of your taste in podcasts. We do not sell log files. Retention of raw logs is measured in weeks unless a security investigation needs a longer hold, in which case we keep only what the investigation requires and then return to the ordinary cycle.

3.3 Cookies and similar storage

The Site may store a first-party preference cookie so that the cookie notice does not appear on every page load after you have chosen. Details sit in the Cookies Policy. We do not currently run a third-party analytics pixel on these pages. If that changes, we will update both policies before any such script is added, and the cookie banner will treat analytics as optional. Embedded maps and embedded Spotify frames are third-party content. They may set their own cookies if you interact with them. You can refuse optional cookies on our banner; that refusal cannot switch off cookies on Spotify after you leave.

3.4 Special categories

We do not seek data about health, religion, politics, or sexual orientation. Please do not include such information in an email unless it is necessary for a specific correction request and you accept that email is not a perfect channel. If you send it anyway, we will still treat the message as correspondence, but we may ask you to narrow the request.

4. How we use personal data

We use contact details to answer you, to correct a page, to schedule an appointment at the desk, and to keep a short record of what was asked and what we replied. Form submissions are treated as correspondence, the same as email. We use logs to operate and secure the Site. We use the preference cookie to remember your cookie choice. We do not use personal data to train a public generative model. We do not use it to decide a loan, a job, or an insurance premium. We do not send marketing newsletters because the contact form is not a mailing-list signup.

5. Legal bases and Singapore practice

We handle personal data in line with the spirit of Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act: collect for a purpose, use for that purpose, protect it, and do not keep it longer than we need. Where you send the contact form, email, or call us, we treat that as a request you initiated. Where logs are collected, the purpose is security and operation of a public website. If a later law or advisory requires a different notice, we will update this page and change the “Last updated” date. International visitors should assume that data you send to a Singapore desk may be stored with a host that offers a Singapore region. We do not operate a network of secret European servers, and we do not pretend to.

6. Disclosure

We disclose personal data to the host and email provider that carry our traffic, to professional advisers if a dispute requires it, and to authorities if a law requires it. We do not sell personal data. We do not trade email lists. If we use a contractor to fix the Site, they see only what they need to fix it and they are told it is not for their marketing. Spotify and Google are independent controllers of their own services. A click from this Site to those services is not a “sale” by us of your name. We have your name when you send the contact form or write to us.

7. Retention

Email or form messages about a page correction are kept for up to twenty-four months so that we can see what we already answered. Ordinary questions about listening or living notes are kept for up to twelve months. Server logs follow the host’s default unless we export a slice for security. Preference cookies expire as described in the Cookies Policy. When the period ends, we delete or irreversibly aggregate. Backups roll off on the host’s schedule. We cannot promise that a backup copy will vanish at the exact minute the live copy does; we can promise we do not mine those backups for extra profiling.

8. Security

We use HTTPS on the public Site. Access to the mailbox is limited to people who work the desk. We do not store payment card numbers because we do not take payment. No method of transmission is perfect. If we learn of a breach that is likely to cause significant harm, we will notify affected people and the relevant authorities in the manner the situation requires, using the contact path we have for you if we have one.

9. Your choices

You may ask what data we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to stop using it for a purpose that is not required to finish a conversation you started. Send the request to [email protected] from the address you used before, if you used one, so we can match the file. We may need to refuse a request that is legally blocked, that would reveal another person’s data, or that is unfounded and repetitive. You may also complain to Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Commission if you believe we have not handled a matter properly. Using that route does not require you to shout at us first, but a short email often fixes a mislabelled page faster than a formal file.

10. Children

The Site is written for adults who listen to a conversation podcast about work, family, and manners. We do not aim it at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If a parent believes a child has sent us personal data, write to [email protected] and we will delete the message from the live mailbox.

11. Advertising and destination honesty

If you arrived from an online advertisement, we still only collect what this policy describes. Ads may be bought on platforms that have their own measurement. Those platforms are not this Site. We do not hide the landing page behind a cloak. We do not swap content after a crawler visit. The show named in the ad is the show named on the homepage: Life in SG : Real Talk. The listen destination is Spotify. That is also a privacy fact: playback data lives with Spotify, not in our notes.

12. Changes

We will change this policy when the Site’s collection practices change. The date at the top is the date of the current text. Continued use of the Site after a change means the new text applies to later visits. It does not rewrite the past without a reason. If a change is material — for example if we added analytics — we will also adjust the cookie banner.
